The Cottonwood Area Transit System, known as CATS, provides both demand and deviated route services. Service extends into Clarkdale, Verde Village and Bridgeport.

The original Dial-A-Ride is a door-to-door service provided to all residents of the communities of Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Bridgeport and Verde Village. Rides for this service must be reserved with the CATS office at least 48 hours in advance.
